Based on its technology platform known as UNLOCK PICHIA®, VALIDOGEN develops industrial protein production strains and bioprocesses for the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals, enzymes and various other recombinant proteins. We are looking for a Research Scientist (Junior or Senior level)/ R&D Associate with experience in downstream processing /protein purification (M.Sc or PhD level)

 Your tasks

Protein purification

•  Planning, development and characterization of protein purification processes
•  Process related analytics; establishment of analytical methods/procedures
•  Data analysis and documentation of results
•  Writing of records and reports for internal and customer projects
•  Evaluation and implementation of new technologies for protein purification

Your profile

•  M.Sc or PhD in molecular biotechnology, protein science, bioprocessing or in a related field
•  Profound knowledge in biotechnology with focus on recombinant protein production & purification
•  Preferable hands-on experience in the field of protein purification

Independent, well-organized and proactive work style

•  Ability to work with highest accuracy and responsibility
•  Ability to work on several projects with time limits in parallel
•  Strategic thinking
•  Strong communication and organizational skills
•  Fluent in written and oral English

The gross salary for this position is € 42.000 gross per year / fulltime. However, we offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience, and individual competencies.
