Internship Organoid (8 months, full time)

We are looking for motivated students interested in conducting a master thesis or internship in the area of cell biology. You will work hands‑on with organoid and organ‑on‑a‑chip models, gain experience with different endpoints, and contribute to innovative research projects within an interdisciplinary team.

Your key responsibilities

• Generation and maintenance of organoid cultures
• Optimize organoid culture conditions
• Support characterization of organoids
• Assist with endpoint analyses (e.g. mRNA isolation, ELISA assays, Cell viability assays, IHC staining)
• Support organ‑on‑a‑chip experiments
• Document experimental work and results according to guidelines

• We are legally obliged to inform you that, according to the applicable collective agreement, the salary for this position is €2,156 gross per month.

You bring

• Completed Bachelor’s studies in Biotechnology, Animal Nutrition Sciences, Veterinary Science, Biomedicine, or a related life‑science field
• Hands-on experience in cell culture (e.g. through internships, or thesis projects)
• Experience with organoid systems or cell imaging techniques is an advantage
• Class B driving licence
• Excellent English skills
• Willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks
• Openness and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
