Ready to take your career to the next level in 2025? We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team and make a real impact. In this key leadership role, you’ll be responsible for driving annual sales objectives, shaping and executing powerful channel strategies, and providing valuable market insights that fuel our success.

As a key partner to the Sales Manager-who focuses on retail pull-through, you’ll take the lead in building and managing strong relationships with national and regional distributors at various procurement and sales levels, all while achieving invoice sales growth.

These are the tasks we entrust to you:

  • Achieve annual sales targets with mindful consideration of margin and mix.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key distributors and channel partners.
  • Manage and execute all channel strategy-related initiatives such as, but not limited to: annual stocking programs, distribution agreements, price books, etc.
  • Track and respond to channel inventory levels of our products.
  • Manage Marketing Action Plans at Division, Region or National levels of key accounts.
  • Segment and manage channel partners based on defined channel strategy.
  • Maintain record of account activities, forecasts and key performance indicators in the CRM system.
  • Act as a mentor and thought leader to the broader sales team, sharing insights and strategies to improve team performance.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, advocating for solutions and initiatives that meet market demands.
  • Prospect and establish new regional distribution based on defined sales and marketing strategy.

To grow in this position, it requires the following:

  • Comprehensive network of contacts with national and regional distribution in the Western US; network in the Great Lakes and Northeastern US a plus.
  • Proven ability to balance customer needs and desires with company objectives to achieve creative and optimal outcomes.
  • Proven ability to develop annual and ad hoc business plans that support strategy and opportunity.
  • Senior-level account management skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, Excellent management and leadership, Excellent time management, Organized with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, (agri)business, (ag)economics or plant sciences.
  • 15+ years of progressing sales experience required; additional experience in marketing or other commercial functions a plus.
  • Located within the Western United States and ability to frequently travel to key customer offices as needed throughout the year
  • Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
  • Self-motivated, with a ‘can-do’ attitude

What else to know?

  • Location: Remote (within the Western United States)
  • We appreciate your expertise for 40 hours/week
  • This position is available immediately however, we are happy to consider your notice period or your desired start date.
  • Based on your professional experience and your qualification, we offer you a competitive compensation package ranging from $140,000 – $150,000 (USD) gross annual base salary, plus attractive benefits.
